There were times-not many, but a few - when Yashwanti Adventures organize trek without its name.

Gaurav , one of the founder member of Yashwanti Adventures , organized non-luxurious, economic trek for the people of his realm.

You may find this mysterious but
Things are not always as they seemed, Much that may seem mysterious can be straight-forward. 


It was rainy and cold day in south Mumbai..
And we started our journey from Charni Road to the north of the north Mumbai..

We were 8 .

It got colder and colder as we headed to north!!


We boarded to Virar a wall between north and north of the north...Why is it that when one man builds a wall, the next man immediately needs to know what's on the other side?

Because it's men thing....

...Men will be Men....

And decided to break that barrier and went ahead to Saphale.

A cold wind was blowing from the north, and it made the trees rustle like living things.


Captured a Metal Horse having three circular legs.. sounds eccentric.. A mad man sees what he sees. The heart lies and the head plays tricks with us, but the eyes see true..

Most men would rather deny a hard truth than face it.

And we faced it.

 

We started our expedition from the base village Tandulwadi.
We saw One group of men , cultivating seeds of Trees- Old Gods of Forest..


There were two ways - Different roads sometimes lead to the same castle. As the case this time…

There comes a time when We must all face the choice between what is right and what is easy.
The group told us to go to right as it was easy way. But A lion doesn't concern itself with the opinion of sheep.One has to learn to notice things, to read the truth that people hid behind their eyes.


We neither took Easy way nor right one … “THE LEFT”.

There were many obstacles came in between but we didn’t get frightened …

Fear cuts deeper than swords. 


And finally we conquered the fort….




If I look back, I am lost.. I don’t know what I have written

My words lied. My eyes and my arm shouted out the truth , but you were not seeing.
















Timings and Expenses

26 June 2016
5.30 AM - 8.00 AM - Charni road to Saphale (Return) - Rs. 40
Break Fast - Rs. 25
8.00 AM to 8.30 AM - Saphale to Tandulwadi by 6 seater (Return) - Rs. 20 + 20
8.30 AM to 11.30 AM - Ascend and explore fort.
upto 2 PM - reach base village.
2.00 PM to 3.00 PM - Lunch - Rs. 100
Return Journey to Mumbai

Total - Rs. 205  

(Trains available from Virar after every 50 min. 6 Seaters or jeeps are available at Saphale East. Ask for return journey also. Lunch not available at base village. And I have respect for the group whom we met while trekking. They also gave us seeds for cultivation. These are small steps one can easily do for nature.)

आमच्या इंजिनिअरिंग कॉलेजात शॉर्ट फिल्मची स्पर्धा असायची. त्यात भाग घेतला होता. तेव्हा स्पर्धेचे परीक्षक म्हणून रानवाटाचे स्वप्निल पवार आले होते. त्यांनी हरिश्चंद्र गडावरून दिसणाऱ्या इंद्रवज्राबद्दलची शॉर्ट फिल्म दाखवली आणि तेव्हा पहिल्यांदा इंद्रवज्राबद्दल कळलं. त्याआधी मी हरिश्चंद्रगडावर जाऊन आलेलो असल्याने आपण तेव्हा इंद्रवज्र बघितलं नाही याचं वाईट वाटलं होतं. पण नंतर कळलं की त्याला काही काळ वेळ असते. पावसाळ्याआधी येणारे ढग कोकणकड्यावर अडकतात आणि आपल्याला हे नयनरम्य दृश्य पाहायला मिळतं. त्यानंतर अजून २ वेळा हरिश्चंद्र गडावर जाणं झालं. २०१६ ला मे महिन्याच्या शेवटी आणि २०१८ ला जून च्या पहिल्या आठवड्यात हरिश्चंद्र गडावर जाऊन आलो. पण दोन्ही वेळा इंद्रवज्र बघण्याचा योग काही जुळून आला नाही. पण यावेळी मात्र अधिक सकारात्मकतेने हरिश्चंद्रगडावर गेलो होतो (२४ - २५ मे). आणि रात्री कोकणकड्यावरंच मुक्काम केला. सकाळी आम्ही चौघं (मी, अवधूत, कुशल, केतन) टेन्ट मधून बाहेर येऊन सूर्य कधी तारामती शिखराच्या वरती येतोय त्याची वाट पहात बसलो. बरोब्बर ६ वाजून १८ मिनिटांनी सूर्य तारामती शिखराच्या ...

Tryambakgad (Brahmagiri) - Harihargad. - त्र्यंबकगड (ब्रह्मगिरी) - हरिहरगड

It was our anniversary trek of “Ikadun Tikdun Achanak Bhayanak ” Trekkers. A group of mad guys who couldn`t think a nice name for their group. A year ago we went to Rajmachi i.e. on 4 th January. And this year on 4 th January we were on the top of the Harihar fort. Unlike Rajmachi this time we were only 4. ITABT- Rajmachi We decided to go to Tryambakgad (Brahmagiri) , Harihargad and Basgad (Bhaskargad). But we dropped out the Basgad. On 2 nd jan took 7.21 pm Kasara local from CST. It was the day on which there was total chaos of locals. Because of that very few dared to travel by train. And surprisingly there was no rush for Kasara. After passing Titwala one of the passengers told us not to go to Kasara. Instead get down at Umbarmali (Sub-station between Khardi and Kasara) and take S.T. to Nashik. We did exactly the same. Kalavantin Durg (कलावंतीण दुर्ग) - Way to Heaven

This is the first time I am writing about my Trek experience. Because even I Google for information about trek & how to go there and other stuff. So to contribute something that might be helpful for other trekkers and beginners, I am writing this blog & here is my first post.
